The Mirage Thorax Olive Diawl LW is an excellent spring and summer nymph, particularly when olives are hatching. It combines olive and chartreuse with a subtle, flashy mirage thorax and sunburst goose biot cheeks. Tied on our lightweight Fario FBL 300 hook, it sinks more slowly than a standard Diawl. That makes it ideal for super slow retrieves on the washing line without the fly dropping below the fish's taking zone, and it's a great fly to fish between two dries.
