The Hot Spot Shrimp is a buggy, natural shrimp pattern with a trigger point fish can't ignore. A squirrel dubbing body is leaded underneath to get it down quickly, a brown scud back and fine nylon rib give it a realistic segmented shrimp profile, and a hot orange glister hot spot in the middle of the body adds just enough colour to draw fish in.
Tied on our lightweight barbless grub hook for a natural curved shape, it's deadly for both trout and grayling. Fish it on the point of a team of nymphs, under a sighter dry on the duo method, or slowly along the bottom on stillwaters.
