The Corixa Ice Dub is a simple but deadly imitation of the corixa, or lesser water boatman, a favourite food source for trout in the shallows from late summer into autumn. A pearl ice dub body gives the shimmer of the air bubble the natural carries, under a pheasant tail shellback, with pheasant tail legs and a red head to finish. Fish it on a floating or midge-tip line with short, sharp pulls around weed beds and margins.
