The Squirmy Worm originated from the USA where it was used to devastating effects on rivers for trout. Since then this pattern has been popularised in the UK with its equally devastating effects on small waters and rivers. This particular fly has won countless competitions and has caught many different species of fish including trout, grayling, salmon, perch, chub and numerous other coarse fish.
The Olive Squirmy Worm is one of the most natural colours in the Squirmy range, making it a superb choice for pressured fish and clear water. A great all-season fly that works particularly well on rivers and small waters alike. Fished best under a Fario Bung or on a slow retrieve close to the bottom.
