A very popular modern fly for fishing rivers where size and depth are key factors. Particularly effective in clear water and great for fishing fast water, as these flies cut through the water with little resistance thanks to their slim body, high gloss varnish finish and dense tungsten bead, so they sink fast and get down to the fish quickly.
This version has a sparkling black glister thread body and a red holo tinsel thorax for a subtle flash, finished with a silver tungsten bead, a black varnished thorax cover and a coq de leon tail.
