This super simple but hugely effective CDC olive pattern has caught both ourselves and our customers literally hundreds of fish! It is an incredibly simple looking pattern but is the exact profile and footprint of olive upright flies which fish absolutely love!!!
Made from CDC, some dubbing, a thread body and a Coq de Leon tail this fly is a must. We advise making sure you have some in each size to match the size of the natural coming off. This is literally the go-to upwing olive pattern for the river.
