The Midas Dry was originally created by reservoir dry fly ace Paul Davidson who used this pattern to great effect. A specific blend of natural seals fur created a very buggy and natural looking fly which fish seem to find irresistible especially in late summer and into autumn. If you fish large reservoirs this is a must for your fly box.
