Lures are the go-to flies when trout are chasing fry, keyed on colour or just need waking up. Our range includes the classic IPN ("Idiot Proof Nymph"), Dancers, Humungus, the Super Ally McCoist and Friendly Tubes – flies built with marabou, fritz and rabbit for plenty of movement, with flash where it counts. Fish them on anything from a floater to a fast sinker, vary your retrieve from a slow figure of eight to a fast strip, and always hang the fly at the end – that's when many of the takes come.
