This black buzzer pattern is particularly effective at the start of the season and through spring time, when black buzzers usually fish best.
The flashback quill buzzer has all the ingredients which means this fly fishes well in all conditions and at all depths. Its quill body gives the pattern a natural look and the orange cheeks give a perfect trigger point, finally if fishing this buzzer deep in sunny conditions the subtle flash back body will glisten and glint in the sun thanks to the quill which is wrapped evenly over the mirage body.
