A jig-style take on the classic Pheasant Tail Nymph, tied Chlumsky style. A wound pheasant tail body with a fine copper rib and coq de leon tail gives the slim, natural profile that has made the PTN one of the most successful nymphs of all time, while a black peacock thorax adds a buggy finish. The light pink bead is a real trigger point for grayling in particular, and the jig hook rides point-up to reduce snagging on the bottom.
Fish it on the point or dropper of a team of nymphs, or under a sighter dry on the duo method.
