This Mylar fry patterns was first devised on Rutland water over a decade below and by all accounts it was Rutland fishing Ace Dave Doherty who first used this style of fly to great effect.
fished either as a floating fly (the foam version) or the non buoyant version fished sub surface or even suspended below a floating fry! Personally I like the fishing them singularly to fry which are crashing into fry and the supping up the injured fry!
this super realistic imitation is tied on a unique gold heavyweight wet fly hook for extra fish appeal and complies to international competition sizes. Select either small subsurface or floating version from drop down menu.
Make sure you use heavy breaking strain leader as takes with this patterns can be savage!!!
